New Drivers

The regular drivers for the bus I take are on strike.

For these past three days, passengers had to deal with
new drivers ... who are new to the route ... and I just
found myself laughing at the situation ... even though
I'm coming in to work 5 minutes later than usual.

It seems like the bus drivers are taking directions
from passengers on where to turn ... and where
to stop.

Just one of those things I guess ... as long as they
dont go on strike ... and there will be no drivers
at all.

Okay ... This movie was ... AMAZING!!

I still wanted "Brokeback Mountain" to win the Oscar ... but I
definitely understand why members of the Academy voted for
this movie ... ofcourse there might have been many members
that only saw this movie and not "Brokeback Mountain" .. this
was great storytelling .. and deserving of the Oscar for the
orignal screenwriting.

But ... WHY / WHY / WHY did "THAT" have to happen to
Ryan Phillippe ... He becomes the BAD guy .. and "finger
fucker" Matt Dillon saves Thandie Newton and he's the
GOOD guy!!

The wives / The husbands

The cops / The robbers

I could go on and on about how AMAZING this movie is!
I will definitely get it for my collection!

The Cutting Edge 2: Going For the Gold

Okay ... so I kinda liked this "sequel" ...

But just remove "The Cutting Edge" and its just another
ABC Family TV Movie ... Going For The Gold ..

Where was D.B. Sweeney?
Where was Moira Kelly?

And "Toe Pick" !! Say it once, might as well say it
a couple of times!

The end .. was .. kinda .. cheesey ... but hey its from the
Cheese Factory ... er Mouse Factory .. er ..

Yes .. its a guilty pleasure.

The Fifth 16-hour Saturday

I will use the barstool for the last 3 hours
of my shift ... and my feet will thank me for
it!!

Another night of Free Pizza!

I actually like this .. working at night ... when
its not busy .. and I can do this ... the first month
is over!!

Funny Opening Sequence ... I'd love to be in bed with George Clooney too!

Clooney ... Sexy mofo ... wins ... ONE PICK RIGHT!

I really didnt think Ben Stillers "joke" was funny ... green man!

Wallace and Gromit wins!! TWO PICKS RIGHT!

I really wasnt into the "Oscar Smear Campaign" Parodies

I REALY, REALLY, LOVED THE FACT THAT Three 6 Mafia Won!! So I was
WRONG about best song .... They Thanked Jesus .. and George Clooney!!

I kinda laughed when Jennifer Gardner ALMOST had an accident ...

I now want to watch TSOTSI ... was right about this win!

I now want to watch MARCH OF THE PENGUINS .. another winner for me!

Im soo glad Reese Witherspoon Won (and another right pick) ... but bummed
that Joaquin Phoenix didnt.

I knew that Brokeback & Crash would win the screenplay category ... NOW
I REALLY WANT TOS SEE CRASH ... but I still liked Matchpoint!

I loved GClooneys speech .. where he says sumtin like "i guess im not getting
director" ... really glad that Ang Lee got it .. "i wish i knew how to quit you" :-)

AND ... THE OSCAR FOR BEST PICTURE ... wow .. I REALLY SHOULD
WATCH "CRASH" !! Upsetting yes ... but .. it must have been good .. but
hey ... Million Dollar Baby won last year .. over Aviator .. and I watched MDB
on DVD ... I was just sooo upset and depressed of the ending .. AVIATOR
WAS ROBBED!!

BTW ... Did Cathy Schulman say she wanted to thank her husband AND WIFE??
Or "our husbands & wives" ... I couldnt pay attention to her acceptance speech ..
I was also suprised she also thanked Bob Yari .. since they are suing each other.

I'd had more time to sit down today/night

We had pizza for dinner ... for free .. with the Free Pizza Coupon

Sitting on a barstool for the last three hours definitely helped!

Ash Wednesday

I went to church for Ash Wednesday.

It's been awhile since I've gone to Sunday mass, I've
been soo exhausted lately working a long Saturday shift.

I've decided to give up my "usual" not "daily" breakfast
food --> Chocolate Croissant / Chocolate Bar / Chocolate Muffin

My sister & niece said I should be giving up Hot Chocolate ...
but I know that I wont be able to do that for Lent .. I dont
have that much will power!

I ate Shrimp Tempura for dinner ... hmmm .. is it every
Friday that we cant eat meat too??

My feet doest hurt that much!

I can soo definitely do this for FOUR months!

I still have to get new FLAT shoes though!

Match Point

Okay ... So I've decided to watch SOME of the movies
nominated for best original/adapted screenwriting.

Today I saw Match Point ... Mr Woody Allens movie.

It started out slow ... but hey Jonathan Rhys-Myers is eye candy!

Anyways ... I was semi pissed at the end ... why / why / why ... as much as
I hated Scarlett Johansson .. (she plays an actress too) ... her character did
not deserve what happens ... the whole ring / ball ... Match Point thingy ..
and I thought I knew what was going to happen ... but ofcourse ... for me
it was a surprise ending ... crap .. but it was good .. in a bad way ..

I guess I know why it was nominated ...

I absolutely love the story of Johnny Cash & June Carter!!
Their friendship & love for each other ... awww ... He really
loves this woman.

My feet were tapping ... people were clappin .. I think I'm going
to get his CDs ..

I think they are both going to get the Oscars!

I love this movie!!

Jake Gyllenhall & Heath Ledger were amazing!

Michelle Williams deserves her nomination .. great acting ... her face when
she sees the both of them kissing (to say mildly) .. and the scene she talks
to Ennis about "Jack Nasty" ... aww .. the pain of this woman ...

I cried ... especially about the shirts ... especially how Ennis looks at the
end of the film ...

what the hell was going on with all of Anne Hathaways hair stlyes!!

Saturdays

Okay ... this is going to be my LAST SATURDAY that I will be
able to go out ... and do something fun ...

Every Saturday ... for the next FOUR months .. I will be doing a
DOUBLE shift at work ... YEAH, IM CRAZY LIKE THAT. 16 hours
of .... i dont know ... work i guess.

I have a vacation planned for the summer ... and I want this to be
a REAL vacation spanning about two weeks ... one of them unpaid ..
thus I have to make up in some income.

So bring on going to the movies one last Saturday!
One more Saturday to have DVD night!
One more Saturday to have dinner out!
