Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia

I absolutely loved this musical!! Will most definitely buy
this for my collection.

Thanks to PONDS for the free "Movie Money" tickets!! We had
to go to the ArcLight Cinemas to use the tickets ~ really nice
theatre ... never been there before ... and the popcorn was
worth the price (usually get it free at AMC) ~

Go out and see this ... you'll have a great time!

A Chorus Line

Photobucket

I just love shows that deal with Dance!!

Got another invite from the Ahmanson Theatre ... I didn't want to
miss the show ... even though Mario Lopez wasn't going to be
featured, I couldn't pass on a free screening.

Michael Gorman (assistant choreographer) and Nikole Vallins
(casting) are also the nicest people I've met ~

This is a must see musical!!

Wicked Birthday

Photobucket

After MONTHS of asking for tickets for this show
I finally got it as a birthday gift!!

Thanks a bunch "guys" and "gals" ;-P !!

Loved the seats too!! What I thought was row VV was
actually row W ~ I wish the person seated next to
me told me I was on her seat (she sat next to me
for about 10 minutes until a couple sat down and
said she was on their seat. Then she realized I
was on hers ... and when I checked my ticket, she
said I had the better row!!

I guess old age has caught up with my eyesight!

Anyways ... liked the book ... but loved the
musical. The ending to the show, MUCH different
from the book.

Love it! Loved it! Go out and see this show!!
And knowing how the stage looks from my seats,
I might change my mind on future shows.

The Color Purple

I've just seen The Color Purple and its AMAZING!

I kinda wanted to see Fantasia as Celie, but Jeanette Bayardelle was fantastic!

Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child was incredible as Shug Avery. One of my favorite songs was Push Da Button ~

Loved the second act with Celie and Nettie "together" in Africa. Fabulous sets and lighting.

I enjoyed the scenes that included Sofia, Harpo, and the church ladies ~

Miss this play??

HELL NO!!!!!!!

The Light In the Piazza

It was another night at the theatre, and this
time it was for "The Light In the Piazza" ~

This musical won 6 Tony awards in 2005!!

I had fun! Gloria and her cousin came too.
The only annoying thing of the night was when
the person in front of me turned around
and "shhed" Gloria. She was chewing gum
and somehow annoyed him. Which I could
not understand since I was sitting next
to her and didnt notice any "noise" ~ and he
was sitting in front of me.

Anyways...go out and see this! Beautiful and
"romantic" ~ You'll laugh in the beginning of
Act II when they sing Aiutami.

The Playbill

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I officially have two Les Miserables Playbills!!
One from New York ... 1991 ...my first musical ever!
The Pantages Theatre was beautiful. We sat at the
very top of the Mezzenne level .. but we still had a "good"
view. Wonderful night!

Les Miz Signs

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Signs That I'm Meant To Watch Les Miserables:

1) I turn on the TV and I'm watching PBS .. its an episode of

"Windsor Castle" ... the queen and the President of France are

to watch Les Miserables.

2) There is a scene in The Da Vinci Code where the main characters

drive by a Les Miserables poster

3) The receptionist at the Dental Clinic I'm going to is named Cosette.

4) Music from the MUSAK at work keeps playing songs from the musical
