Work In Progress

I just found out that one of my co-workers got fired.

It's hard to think that someone that I've worked with for 8 years won't be there tomorrow. I don't know why he was let go, I don't know where he'll be working afterwards, but I feel numb.

I'm glad that I have a job. But I'm here because I need the income. I can't say that he is devastated...I'm sure he wanted to be doing something else, but now, what will he do about income?

I've been watching Master Chef and It's inspiring to hear the contestants say "I quit my job to be a chef"...but can they really survive without enough income.

I digress. Sorry.

I pray that he gets a job soon.

Crazy Stupid Love

I wasn't planning on watching this movie at all. But I had M.S. work to do, and decided to watch this for the job.

First of all, Ryan Gosling is sooo FN Hot in this movie!!!

Second of all, I did not expect that "twist" regarding "Nana" ~ do not want to give any spoilers.

This was nicely written. And I think I might even buy it when it comes out in DVD.

It's The Month Of August

I've just been soo busy with other projects, I haven't had the extra time to go online and post on this blog about the projects I've been busy with.

But now that FICTION is the topic of the month, I can let you know the current novel I'm reading is "I Heart New York" by Lindsey Kelk.

Still trying to find time to read, write, watch movies, watch DVDs, and watch television.

But there hasn't been enough time.

Macbook Discountinued!

Okay ... so I decided to go to the Apple website just to get inspired by looking at pictures of the MacBook.

Could not find the White MacBook on its website. How strange!!

Then I find out that it's DISCONTINUED!!!

It's a new month!!

I still have a dying PC and only work on the "safe mode" ~ but soon, I'll be writing on a MacBook.

Anyways ~ I'm going to try blogging for the whole month ~ this months theme at NaBloPoMo is FAN ~

Quite interesting is after months of being extremely busy, I've decided to clean up all the dust that has accumulated on my mini fan ~ once all the dust have been cleaned out ~ I felt the need to turn it on ... and could not get the buttons to stay down ... so I had to TAPE IT DOWN!!

A senior U.S. official tells CNN that Osama bin Laden was killed by the U.S. forces in a mansion outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad along with other family members.

Congressional and administration sources say U.S. officials have the body of bin Laden. Further details around his death were not immediately available.
