Birthday Horoscope

Ellen DeGeneres Show Taping!

I finally got to go to a taping of the Ellen DeGeneres show!
This was a birthday surprise from my friend Gloria. I've
been going online to get tickets ... always unavailable ...
but she got tickets from a show employee.

Thank goodness we got VIP Tickets:
1. We didn't have to go to the ticket line at 6am
2. We walked ahead of other ticket holders ... even though we
came late (had to find parking)
3. We were brought to the soundstage first (with other VIP)

We were hoping that MAYBE this would be the Oprah taping.
It wasn't ... BUT ... at the end of the show ... we did have a
surprise related to the Oprah episode.

Anyways, when we got seated we had this warm up guy
entertain us ... we danced .... we clapped ... we laughed.
Then it was time for Ellen to appear.

The Guests: Ryan Phillippe talking about his movie and
the "hard times" going on in his life, Robyn Troup talking
about singing with Justin Timberlake at the Grammys,
Katharine McPhee talking about her singing & acting,
and Bob Harper talking about getting Ellen fit for the Oscars.

So ... our surprise Oprah related guest ... JOHN LEGEND!
On the Feb. 22nd episode, he'll "appear" on the show, but
his taping was today. He sang Where Did My Baby Go and
Ordinary People!! He was amazing!!

Our free gift was a Katharine McPhee CD ~ would love to
have a John Legend CD ~ but its alright! ~ the show airs
on February 16th!

First of February

I'm really disappointed in myself.

I have not completed the novel, I've had some
writers block during the month of January, I
had my lazy moments, and ofcouse ... I had
those Felicity marathon days.

So ... once again ... i shall try to FINISH this
novel by the end of this month.
