Still suffering from Jet Lag!!
After work I decided to go to the library. Stayed there for about an hour, then waited for the bus. I found myself falling asleep at the bus stop. Kinda happy that I didnt miss it. Anyways, as I was stepping up to the bus,
I guesss I missed a step...tripped...and fell on my left knee.
Ouch...thats gonna bruise.
Anyways...I picked up the items that fell off my bag...and the bus driver was asking me how I was. I said I was fine...nothing was wrong.
I was feeling really embarrassed! Good thing there was only three other passengers.
Anyways, I lifted up my pants and saw a small red mark...knowing how I bruise easily I knew that in a couple of hours that small mark will soon become a big, purple, blue, scary, ugly thingy.
I put some ice on it as soon as I got home...from Rite Aid...had to buy the Cold and Hot pack...and sure enough...it TRIPLED in size.
I just hope I could walk tomorrow. My knee is numb right now...I'm just too sleepy to think about the pain.

Back From Vacation!

Flight Log: June 29th
June 29th: Philippine Time
6:30am - Alarm goes off Shower
7:00am - Get things together ... Roomie is showering ...
get Hotel Wake Up Call ... other passengers I met the night
before calls to say they are having breakfast.
7:30am - Got to restaurant for breakfast. Bacon / Eggs / Rice.
Drink some coffee.
8:30am - Shuttle arrives to bring passengers back to airport
10:30am - Board Plan ... Seat 35D ..
11:30am - Plane takes off ... since there were two seats
between myself and that other passenger we decided to
"take" the seats next to us so we could stretch our legs.
12:00pm - Lunch is served ... Beef and sausage and rice.
The sausage looked weird (white) ... so I just had the beef
and rice. Had some water and hot tea.
12:30pm - Watch "Hitch" ... liked it .. really funny.
2:45pm - Had a bathroom break ... really hate airline "CRs".
Go back to seat and watch "Be Cool" ... another good movie.
But I liked "Get Shorty" better ... maybe because it was more
about making movies ... rather than music.

windows are down ... so I dont know if there is light out.

6:00pm - Dinner ... same short features ... an episode of
"What I Like About You" is shown.
6:45pm - Go to the restroom ... then come back to seat to
watch "Phantom of the Opera"
10:00pm - "Phantom of the Opera" is shown again decide
to take a nap since I'll be going straight to work. Just an
hour more till we get to LAX ... and I guess its morning.
So its no longer "PM" ... here .. wherever I am ...

9:30am - Plane reaches LAX
9:45am - Leave plane ... head down to customs / immigration
I get to a line quickly and head out to baggage claim. I keep praying
that finding ZIGGY wont be as long as it was in the Philippines.
10:10am - LOCATE ZIGGY .... go to final customs check and go out
the door to find a payphone. Call work to tell them the drama .. and
that I "might" be late for work ... everything is okay ... time to head
out to wait for the shuttle.
10:15am - Board the Super Shuttle .... drive off .. but there are several
stops in the terminal ... dammit .. please let me make it to work on
time. There are two additional passengers with me. One going to
Universal Sheraton ... the other going to Universal Hilton.
10:20am - On the 405
10:35am - On the 101
10:45am - Passengers are dropped off at the Hilton and Sheraton
10:55am - I get dropped off at work...Pay driver $25 ($23 fare / $2 tip)
11:ooam - Time in for work
And now its time to work a full 8 hour shift!

Heritage Hotel - Manila
This is the hotel I stayed in when PAL delayed my flight. Free Dinner and Breakfast.I had a "roomate" too ... Rebecca ...on her way to Texas.The only thing that I thought was odd (and somewhat gross) was that there was an empty packet of VIAGRA in the closet.It was "hidden" in an Info Card thingymajig where there areprices of dry cleaning / etc. What I kept asking myself was:Did this belong to the guest and housekeeping missed it?Does the hotel provide the Viagra?I did not see any price listing though!

Foot Massage

Flight Log: June 18
9:00am - Around this time I think we land in Hawaii for the refueling.
9:30am - Around this time we fly out to Manila ... 7 hours more I think.
10:00am - I honestly dont know what time it is. My "non" working cell phone actually ISNT working ... I guess the battery needs to be charge. I should really buy a watch in PI.
10:30am - They start to show these other 30minute shows (gag show, travel show, and and episode of Everybody Loves Raymond).
12:00pm - New Movie ... "Mano Po 3" ... The whole movie was in English titles so I was able to understand the whole movie ... I did understand most of the tagalog dialog ... just glad the subtitles were there for the things I didnt understand. Overall ... it was okay ... it just wasnt good as "Mano Po" and "Mano Po 2".
2:00pm - They show "Mano Po 3" again ... and why not "The Wedding Date"!!
3:00pm - Okay ... so I really dont know what time it is ... but if Its 5:00am in the Philippines ... it must be 3:00pm in CA ... and thats what time it seems like.

5:30am - Safe Landing! Everyone Claps!
5:45am - Out of the plane ... straight to immigration / etc. Im out quickly because where Im seated .. my row leaves after buisiness class
6:00am - Waiting for my luggage
6:30am - Still waiting for my luggage
6:45am - Where the heck is ZIGGY!
7:00am - after finally seeing ZIGGY coming my way .... I grab the luggage and head out the door ... there's soo many people trying to find family/friends ... Then I finally see Kuya Ronald!! Then Ate Lota!! Then
Kuya Lele ... I hug all of them and get in the car ... they said they were waiting for awhile ... and I said it took forever for me to get my luggage.
They said that my mom still doesnt know ... and she's at church ... so by the time we get there ... she be out!! The suprise is still set!
8:00am - Arrive in Carmona ... Time to suprise MOM!

The Flight Log: June 17
5:00pm - Super Shuttle picks me up at my apartment
On the same shuttle is a family heading out to Hawaii (mom, dad, 2 sons)
"mom" gives me a stick of gum ... some kind of mixed fruit flavor.
The sixth passenger is a woman headed to Arizona.
6:30pm - Reach LAX ...say goodbye to the others and enjoy the summer/vacation
6:45pm - Check in baggage ... stick some "Ziggy" stickers on luggage
7:00pm - Munch on some Fries and chocolate shake
7:30pm - Try to read "Grim Grotto" ... decide to listen to CD instead.
9:30pm - Board airplane ... Seat 43C ...the aisle ... next to me seated at the
center is an "older" caucasian man ... next to him at the window is his wife
.. a Filipina.
10:00pm - The plane is scheduled to depart ...I must have dozed off ... I did
start saying the rosary and wrapped the beads around my wrist.
11:30pm - I wake up and at this time they start serving DINNER! They only
have beef adobo left, and Im happy to acutally have airline food. On the movie
screen "The Pacifier" is playing ... Im too tired to watch....and go back to
sleep after eating.
1:00am - I wake up "around" this time and find out that "The Pacifier" is about
to show ..AGAIN ... I might as well watch .... Vin Diesel = sexy .
2:30am - I really dont know what time it is ... movie was actually good ... cute
family movie.
2:45am - Around this time they start to show previews of "The Wedding Date" ...
I decided to sleep ... since ofcourse they'll show it again.
4:14am - No sign that "The Wedding Date" is going to show again .. too tired ...
5:00am - I really .. really have no idea what time it is ... just guessing .. need to
pee .. have to get back to watch "In Good Company"
5:15am - I think this is about the time they show "In Good Company" ... They
serve breakfast too. I get chicken adobo this time.
7:15am - Good movie ... S Jo and To G had good performances .. need to pee
and go have another "moment of sleep" ... I'm also going to have to start another
blog date.

New Bathroom
The Ceiling is fixed!!
The hole is gone!
No more bubbles!
Well...for those of you who have been keeping up
with the drip/hole episodes...my ceiling has been fixed!
They actually repainted my whole bathroom. It still smells
like paint/etc. so I guess it'll air out in 24hours. They
moved everything out of my bathroom. And the bathrod
still needs to be attached to the wall. I guess I cant shower
or use the bathroom tonight. Must find alternate way...
I just hope they dont forget and attach the bathrod. Its not
one of those that you just adjust to the wall and it holds on its
own. It has to be screwed on. I'm just glad I dont have the
hole..or bubble..or drips.

The Tony Awards
Hugh Jackman was absolutely wonderful as a host.
Loved his singing/dancing performance.
I really wish I could go to New York and watch these
musicals!
I loved the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels & "The 25 Annual Spelling Bee"
performances.
If I could win a TONY, it would be for the "Best Book of a Musical"
category.
Must rent out dvds/tapes of musicals and get some inspiration.

Notice To Enter Dwelling: Part 3
Another notice was posted on my door today.
This time they are coming in on Monday the 6th to
"repair bath ceiling". I just hope something is done.
I've been taking showers and I havent noticed any
drips coming from the holes. The corner area
seemed to have dried up. There isnt a hole there, but
there is this brown stain where the second drip was
coming from.
Another day of not winning the lottery. The Winning numbers are:
2 8 22 29 47 Mega: 22
I actually did my weight training today!!
I'm hoping to tone my arms...for the summer.
I just hope I dont get lazy...and give up tomorrow.
