Guam Stamp

Once again, I'm procrastinating during Christmas.

It's already Dec. 19th, and I've just sent out my
Christmas cards. I don't really mind sending them
out this late ... to people in the US ... its just
the international ones that I feel bad about.

I usually put multiple .41 cent stamps on my
international mail ~ and additional cents ~ but
today,I needed to buy "real" international stamps
at the post office. When the person behind the
counter rangup the stamps, I noticed the words
"Hagatna Bay Guam USA" and thought that was odd
~ until she handed me the stamps!!



OMG ~ I felt somewhat "homesick" ~ how could I have not known
that this stamp existed!?!?!

The Color Purple

I've just seen The Color Purple and its AMAZING!

I kinda wanted to see Fantasia as Celie, but Jeanette Bayardelle was fantastic!

Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child was incredible as Shug Avery. One of my favorite songs was Push Da Button ~

Loved the second act with Celie and Nettie "together" in Africa. Fabulous sets and lighting.

I enjoyed the scenes that included Sofia, Harpo, and the church ladies ~

Miss this play??
