The LOST Finale

Finally! This episode was amazing!
I didnt really have a favorite "Jack and Kate"
moment in this episode...or for awhile. I
actually loved more of the scenes with Sun and Jin.
Hurley had some really great lines too!

Whats with the black ghostly smoke flying around?
And whats with the loud "thumping" noise?? What is
this SECURITY DEVICE??!!

No polar bears / boars running around in this
episode.

I'm just rambling..explosions..kidnapped babies..
Charlie grabbing the drugs..more "Lockisms"..
Hurley finding his "lotto" numbers on the hatch.
Etc..Etc..and more flashbacks..wow!

The raft scenes with the guys was entertaining.
I did not expect Walt to be taken by the "others" !!
And the hatch...where does it lead to?
Cant wait to see the new season!!

Are there "others" out there who is just as thrilled
as I am to see Boone on the finale?!?

Hole on the Ceiling: Part 2

Nothing has been done!
No Repairs!
There is still a second bubble.
There is still a second leak.
There is still a hole in the ceiling.

I noticed that there was some excess
water on my tub..directly below the
hole. I really dont know what they did
today. Are they just wating for it to
dry up?

I tried to feel the bubble around the hole, its
so "sensitive" and the coating has thinned up,
I actually made ANOTHER small tear!! I guess
this will be hole number two.

Notice To Enter Dwelling: Part 2

I came home today and found another notice. I guess
they are going to "repair water damage/leak" tomorrow
between 8am to 5pm. Please let this be over already!!
The drip from the second bubble is still there. Its not major,
I just hate seeing water up there. I will not touch that bubble
just to create another rip, which will then pour out some
excess water, and then leave me with a second hole in the
wall.

I'm still kinda disappointed that Bo Bice didnt win A.I.
I heard from the "news" that he was actually sick that night.
Which answers why he wasnt the "energetic" person he
usually is. But I still feel he had a better performance than
Carrie. Can you imagine how much better he would have
been if he wasnt sick. Carrie might have had a great last
song...but the title should have gone to Bo...for a wonderful
performance for the whole season. This whole voting process
is flawed anyways. I'm so happy that Clay is doing better than
Reuben in selling records...hmm...being runner up isnt that
bad!

I just have one other disappointment from yesterday:
They finally took my Amtrak ticket!! I was able to
use that one ticket for THREE trips!! And now, someone
finally came by my seat to collect it. Bummer. Lets see
how long I could keep my next one.

My sisters graduation was really nice! I'm really proud of her.
We had dinner at Kabuki..I was craving for tempura...but
decided on Chicken Teriyaki instead. The sushi was nice too.

I really hope this leak situation is fixed.

Missing the Finales

I just realized that I'm going to miss the season finales
of "LOST" and "AMERICAN IDOL" !

At first I thought..hmm the A.I. finale is on a Wednesday,
during the SAME TIME as the Lost finale!! Ofcourse
I'm going to watch "A.I." since its live, I could just watch
"Lost" on a repeat which will most likely be on Saturday.

But its my sisters graduation day...she's finally going to
get her A.A. degree!! I'm just going to do another Amtrak
ride again.

Well...they'll probably do recaps upon recaps of the "winning"
moment...PLEASE LET IT BE BO!!

Vote For Bo Bice

Okay American Idol fans ... I have to admit that Carrie was great
singing "Angels Brought Me Here" ... But Bo OUTSANG Carrie
on two songs!! His version of "Inside your Heaven" was soo
much better than Carrie.

Just think about his a cappella of "In A Dream" last week.

Vote for Bo!!

Hole on the Ceiling

Well, when I got home today, I noticed the hole
on my bath ceiling was BIGGER. They probably
tried to open it up to empty up any excess water
trapped. It all started with a drip from the ceiling,
then a rip on a bubble, to a hole on the celing. I dont
think I could take any normal showers for awhile. I
dont want to touch the second drip. Its not much.
I just want to know how and why this happend.

Notice To Enter Dwelling

When I got home from work today I found a notice
on my door. I guess my A.M. and maintenance are
going to check up on my bath ceiling tomorrow. It
seems like the hole opened up a little wider. I wonder
if they'll know that I actually "made" the hole. Atleast
most of the water is out already. Im just scared that if
this is a "pipe thing"...and If there is some major
work to be done....will I have to find an alterative place
to shower?

The Leak Continues

When I woke up this morning, the leak was still there.
I decided not to use the shower, so I used my tabo to
wash myself up. No need to wash my hair today.
I got to work at 10am and just stressed out about the
whole entire thing. I asked a manager if it was possible
that this leak happened because of my warm showers
and the whole water/steam combo and being trapped
in the sealant...if this theory even makes sense. He said
it was possible and that it has happened to him too.
So he told me that I should call my apt manager about
the leak. I called the A.M. but got his voice mail...about
two hours later he called me back up at work and I told
him about the situation. I gave him permission to enter
my apartment just so I could have some peace of mind that
this leak will be over by the end of the week. When I got
back home there the slow leak was still there. On the far
corner of my tub ceiling..I noticed another leak..coming down
from a small bubbly area...I was tempted to get my hanger
again just to punch another hole.

Still Leaking

I just came home from work .. and the ceiling is still leaking. Just slow drops right now ... the bubble is still there...Im just wondering how this happened. Could it be because I like taking warm showers? Maybe it had to do with water / steam / condensation / Etc. Dont know if the rip got bigger. I will definitely call my apt. manager tomorrow.

Leak

I've just got out of the shower and realized there is a leak on my ceiling. I thought it was strange that I felt drops of water on my back ... and it couldnt been the shower ... so I shut off the water and looked above me and noticed a leak!! Slow droplets of water coming down from my ceiling. Why didnt I notice it before?? There seems to be a "bubble" that had formed...I quickly soaped up and washed up to get out of the tub...I was paranoid that the pipes might exlpoded and the 2nd floor would fall on me. Then I decided to touch the ceiling ... using one of my hangers since Im too short to actually reach it .. so I did a little poking .. and a rip happened .. and more water came down...faster drips now ... dammit why didnt I get renters insurance...anyways...the drops was slowing down...and I figured I'll just wait till it "empties out" ... but now I have to go to work ... I just need to fill out a work order form and turn it in to the leasing office.

Bo Bice Must Win "American Idol"

If you saw tonights American Idol episode ... you'll agree that Bo Bice
had the BEST performance compared to Carrie and "Baby V" (Vonzell).

When he sang "In A Dream" a cappella ... I was in awe! I never heard this
song before ... now I want to buy / download it!!

After hearing Carrie sing an AIR SUPPLY song ... I wasnt too impressed ...
I kinda wanted Vonzell and Bo to compete with each other.

If I could only get through the lines and vote .. damn busy signals and
recordings!!

NBC Executives should be "Committed"

What the FLIP was NBC thinking about when they thought of cancelling
"Committed" and adding a show called "My Name Is Earl" ???

I mean I like Jason Lee ... but why cancel "Committed". The writing is
SOOO much better than "Joey" !! I love Matt LeBlanc and his Joey
during the "Friends" years .. but NOTHING interesting happens in
the show! I'm not saying that "Joey" should be cancelled ... its just that
the network should have kept "Committed".

"My Name Is Earl" better impress me BIG TIME!!

30 for 3 Months

Okay. So I've been 30 years old for about 3 months now.
Not too bad. Lately I've been making lists of books to read,
movies to watch, CDs to listen to. I'm just trying to find
things to do ... just to make me feel that my life isnt "nothing".

I'm trying to clean out my closet .. old clothes. Even though I
know that I wont be shopping any time soon to replace whatever
I have. I feel like i should have a more "grown up" wardrobe.
I want to have the collection from a J Crew or Banana Republic
catelog.

I need more shoes too. This is my current inventory:
2 boots
2 sneakers
3 dress shoes
1 sandal
Just how sad is that!!

As sad as being 30 .. and not having the career I've wanted for as long as I
remember?? I try to tell myself that 30 is the new 20 .. and that I should be
happy ... but thats a lie .. 30 is 30 ... and I'm not in a place where I want to be
in life.

I dont want to have a closet that is smaller than a bathroom stall at
work. I want shoes that are less than two years old. I want variety
too.

People still seem suprised that I'm 30. And they just base this on my
looks. Petite and baby faced ... I guess I should be lucky that I dont have
to run out and buy all those products featured on some infomercials.
I wonder at what age do I start worrying about that.

I will get over this .. right?

Okay ... its Sunday morning ... and I have to get to work at 11:00am ... in Burbank!!
Its time to leave Tracy ... and say goodbye to Jasmine and the other girls.

10:15am - Saw some cows on a steep hillside ... wondered how they got
up the hill and down ... without falling.

10:50am - Clock in for work ... we made it on time.

Road Trip to Tracy (5.06.05)

My niece/god daughter Jasmine just turned 12 (May 5th) and now she's having a birthday party on Saturday (May 7th). Since I'm off from work on Saturday, my niece Apple (Jasmine's sister) and my sister Weng decided to go and surprise the family and go to the party. ROAD TRIP. Apple decided to leave Friday night instead of leaving Saturday morning. Here's a recap of the adventure.

8:30pm - Leave Toluca Lake
* My sister took the 134 to the 5N ... little did she know that there was a 5N off Lankershim *

10:30pm- Stop for Starbucks and McDonalds / restroom break
* Tall Cafe Mocha and Meiji .... yummm . It took forever for Apple to get her McChicken Sandwich. The guy at the drive through window looked at us and said "pretty girls". There was a really nice restroom in this "Travel Center" *

11:00pm -Back on the road
* Apple is now the driver. The Cafe Mocha obviously wasn't working for me ... I couldn't keep my eyes open ... but I was awake ... listening to some jams *

12:00am- Restroom break
* We went to refuel ... this guy driving a red "old school" Porsche had thought an "Island" was a speed bump ... scratch ... haha ... the bathroom wasn't as nice as the first one. *

12:15am - Back on the road
* Listening to some Lucy Pearl *

1:00am - Restroom Break
* Weng and Apple needed to go #1 ... I stayed in the car ... was watching the line of customers in the convenience store ... and some guy was scratching his ass *

1:10am - Back on the road
* Listening to some Missy Elliott *

1:45am- Arrive at Tracy
* The family still didn't know we were coming over. When Weng texted Ate and Rochelle to open the door they didn't believe her ... we got out of the car ... and they heard the doors open. Then they opened the front door. SURPRISE !! *
