14 Days Until The 14th

There are only 14 more days until my birthday.

I already know that I'm getting the tattoo as a bday
gift to myself ~ but thats gift number one.

Gift number two will most likely be the new ipod
shuffle (in pink) ~ $79

February is going to be an interesting month:

12 more days until The Ellen D Show taping
24 more days until CJs Debut.

The Philadelphia Story

I have this crush on James Stewart!

I loved him in The Shop Around The Corner, there
is just something soo adorable about him.

So I finally watched this movie ... I don't know
why I waited soo long. I had no idea who K.H.
was going to end up with ... really wanted it to be
be Mr. Stewart ... but no ... Cary Grant got the
girl.

Overall ... I really enjoyed the film and understand
why it is in the AFI top 100. So what if James didnt
get the girl ... he got the Oscar.

Today was the last day of work for my coworker
Shannon. She decided to move forward and start
something new. I'm really going to miss seeing
her in the morning to talk about Heroes and Lost.

I'm somewhat jealous that she is taking this step
to leave something "comfortable" and experience
the unexpected. I would love to be able to move
somewhere different for "a while" ~ go to New York
maybe ... moving to Europe would be different too.

But will I actually be happy working someplace
other than California??

I'm just waiting for the right moment.

There's a new Jack & Karen on TV!!

There's just something about the energy Marc & Amanda
have in Ugly Betty ... I miss the wacky relationship
J&K had ... and now Ugly Betty has these two amazing
characters.

All the characters are amazing!! No wonder this show won
a Golden Globe.

Tattoo Suggestion

My sister Rowena suggested a tribal design tattoo
with a heart in the middle.

I was thinking of my name in kanji, but maybe
getting "love" in kanji will be easier.

Change of Service

I cancelled my Earthlink Dial Up Service today!!

I thought that it would take just take 10 minutes
(more or less) to cancel my account, but this person
just kept asking me all these extra questions ... how
old am I (because I sounded young), if I work or go
to school, and asked me what ethnicity I was, etc.

I told him I was from the Philippines and he asked
me if I was a nurse!!! Because he has friends moving
to the States and they are all nurses! I really didnt
know how to end all these questions. Finally he asked
me why I wanted to cancel my service ... and I just
made up a story about how I could access the internet
with my friends computer. But really ... my free trial
was up ... and I wanted to try a new service.

Netzero!

So I finally get off the phone ... and start my new NetZero
experience. I have 3 months of free service ... then I make
my decision of which company to sign up with.

3. Earthlink
4. NetZero

I don't know whats going on ... but I've noticed that the pics
I have don't have the greatest quality!! I don't know how
this feature changed!!

Must be a sign...but its only the first night.

One More Month Until My Bday!

One More Month Until My Birthday!

Okay ... so I have a month to go and I've decided ... I
wanted to do something really AMAZING for my
birthday ... and I've put this off for two years ... I really
wanted to do this on my 30th bday but chickend out!
So ... what is this amazing thing I want to (WILL) do ...

Get a tatoo!!

I already have three things in mind of what to get ...
more on that later ... or maybe some of you guys
have some suggestions ... anyways ... one of them
is my name in Kanji ~

32 In 32 Days

In 32 days ... I'm going to be 32 years old!

This has been a really strange year ... I think in
these last two months a feeling has come over
me ... i can't really explain it ... I'm somewhat
surprised. I don't know why now, but these
feelings have made me want to start the changes
I want to happen in my life. And I really don't
know how that one thing, which might just be
a passing thing, can actually help me with the
bigger things. All I know is that something
has changed ...

Why did the WB network cancel Felicity??

I've just finished my Season One marathon,
and I remember loving this show when it first
premiered ... and now watching it again ... I
still love it. Where would Felicity be now??
Who would she be with?? Why didn't she
end up with Noel instead?!?

... Steps To Fulfill To Do List

Okay ... so its the 9th day of the year and I've
already messed up on resolutions & "To Do"
in 2007.

I woke up late on Sunday ... and did not go to
mass ~ I've only done Pilates & Yoga MWF ~
Have not called mom once ~ took one photograph
in new years day ... and haven't used my digicam
since ~ and more and more.

I'm suppose to "Plot on your calendar the steps to
fulfill you to-do list" ~ but I can't seem to think
up any "steps" ~

Life Is Ours To Be Spent, Not To Be Saved

DH Lawrence said it best ~

So I've been told I work to much. I don't know anymore
if I'm working to live ... or living to work. Which one is
better than the other one anyways?? I alway get confused
with these two things.

The last two years I've been trying to log every expense
I make. I didnt shop as much as I would have liked. It
just seemed like I was saving income from work, and
not enjoying spending it on something special for myself.

I'm working to have something in my savings ... for ... hmm?!
I don't know. Sometims when I spend money on movies, or
a DVD, or even for a cookie from Mrs. Fields or coffee from
Starbucks I feel really good. Like work was worth it. And
when I check how much money I've "saved" from work, I
wonder .. okay .. now what.

I know its good to have some savings ... and one day, I'm
going to use it and spend like crazy. So, now I wonder:

Is it better to spend in one big bulk?

Is it better to spend in small portions?

I always feel some kind of "panic" when starting
something new. Like a new job, moving to a new
place, etc.

It's a feeling where I don't want to lose what I
already have, because I'm somewhat comfortable,
but then I feel something lacking. And that
lacking feeling takes over ... having a sense of
comfort isn't enough.

And now ... the most difficult thing seems to be
going on .. going forward ... shaking off this skin
that I've been wearing ... which felt comfortable for
so long.

Every Exit Is An Entry Somewhere Else

Every one knows the saying, when one door closes, another
one opens (or window, etc) ~

I'm just wondering ... there are people who keep themselves
in the same room, not opening any doors ... not exiting ... just
staying dormant.

I don't know if I reach my limit of exits ... or if opening so
many doors has gotten me confused of exactly what room
I want to be in.

Can someone go back to a particular closed door?
Can someone take an exit twice and not even know it,
therefore completely wasting their time?

Doesn't some exits also have detours, where you really
have no choice but to turn in that direction?

Drive On? Open Doors? Be Dormant? Close Windows?

Here's To Starting Again

Since my one of my resolutions is to write daily, I
decided to blog daily ... I do intend to finish
"The Novel" by the end of the month, if not by the
end of February.

I've gotten some 2007 calendars and pocketbooks
that includes quotes ~ ideas ~ "to do" in 2007 that
I decided to share in my daily blogs. Oprahs "O"
magazine includes a calendar ... the main theme

2006 went by really fast, and there are some things
that I wish I could have done, and things I wish I could
have avoided ... but ... its a new year ... another chance
for me to start fresh.
