I really liked this documentary!!
It really deserved the Oscar for best documentary ... however ..
I didnt see the other films ..
It was somewhat sad though ... how some penguins didnt make it to
their destination ... the eggs cracking during the change over of the
female & male penguins .. just the whole traveling back and forth
to get food.
But this is a film that I recommend

Going To A Debut!
Okay ... my niece Kathleen just turned 18 on March 14th
and now she's having her 18th Birthday Debut party.
It's another ROAD TRIP to Tracy, CA.
On board is my sister Weng, her BF Jimmy, and ofcourse my
mom :-)
I'm requesting the weekend off .. which means ... NO 16-hour
shift for me this Saturday!!
No more work for how many hours!!! It's party time this
weekend. Going to a Debut!

I've working for 3 years with this company
It seems soo much time has passed
I absolutely LOVE the people I work with
But then ... we have to deal with some really STUPID ASSHOLES!

The Typical 16-hour shift
6:45am - clock in (cup of hot chocolate and coffee)
7:00am to 12:15 - work and work (a cup of water every hour)
12:15pm - Lunch (Chicken / Pasta / Alfredo Sauce)
12:35pm to 12:45 - Foot Massage
12:45 to 4:45 - work and work (a cup of water every hour)
4:45 to 5:00 - Foot Massage
5:00 to 5:20 - Dinner (Hamburger & Fries)
5:20 to 9:00 - work and work
9:00 to 11:00 - work and work (but sittin on a stool)
11:15pm - Time To Go Home

Failure To Launch
There's a scene in the beginning of the movie when Matthew
McConaughey walks out of the bathroom with a towel around
his waist ... ahhh .... yes this man is damn sexy!!
Anyways .. that was one of the good parts of the movie. I
didnt want to read any of the reviews but I read it was a
hit at the box office.
The "script" has its cute moments .. I just didn't think that
having characters bitten by animals was funny ... what was
the whole point of that! In the end of the movie .. the whole
"reality show" "scene" ... did we really need those EXTRA
people watching on ...
For some reason everytime M.M. said "bull shit", I started
to feel I was watching "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" ..
But MM and SJP were a cute couple ... and it was a cute movie.
So .. yeah .. go out and watch this movie ... and see M.M with
just a towel on.

New Drivers
The regular drivers for the bus I take are on strike.
For these past three days, passengers had to deal with
new drivers ... who are new to the route ... and I just
found myself laughing at the situation ... even though
I'm coming in to work 5 minutes later than usual.
It seems like the bus drivers are taking directions
from passengers on where to turn ... and where
to stop.
Just one of those things I guess ... as long as they
dont go on strike ... and there will be no drivers
at all.

Crash DVD
** WARNING ... SPOILERS **

Okay ... This movie was ... AMAZING!!
I still wanted "Brokeback Mountain" to win the Oscar ... but I
definitely understand why members of the Academy voted for
this movie ... ofcourse there might have been many members
that only saw this movie and not "Brokeback Mountain" .. this
was great storytelling .. and deserving of the Oscar for the
orignal screenwriting.
But ... WHY / WHY / WHY did "THAT" have to happen to
Ryan Phillippe ... He becomes the BAD guy .. and "finger
fucker" Matt Dillon saves Thandie Newton and he's the
GOOD guy!!

I could go on and on about how AMAZING this movie is!

The Cutting Edge 2: Going For the Gold
Okay ... so I kinda liked this "sequel" ...
But just remove "The Cutting Edge" and its just another
ABC Family TV Movie ... Going For The Gold ..
Where was D.B. Sweeney?
Where was Moira Kelly?
And "Toe Pick" !! Say it once, might as well say it
a couple of times!
The end .. was .. kinda .. cheesey ... but hey its from the
Cheese Factory ... er Mouse Factory .. er ..
Yes .. its a guilty pleasure.

I really didnt think Ben Stillers "joke" was funny ... green man!
Wallace and Gromit wins!! TWO PICKS RIGHT!

I REALY, REALLY, LOVED THE FACT THAT Three 6 Mafia Won!! So I was

I now want to watch TSOTSI ... was right about this win!
I now want to watch MARCH OF THE PENGUINS .. another winner for me!

that Joaquin Phoenix didnt.
I knew that Brokeback & Crash would win the screenplay category ... NOW
I REALLY WANT TOS SEE CRASH ... but I still liked Matchpoint!

director" ... really glad that Ang Lee got it .. "i wish i knew how to quit you" :-)
AND ... THE OSCAR FOR BEST PICTURE ... wow .. I REALLY SHOULD
WATCH "CRASH" !! Upsetting yes ... but .. it must have been good .. but
hey ... Million Dollar Baby won last year .. over Aviator .. and I watched MDB
on DVD ... I was just sooo upset and depressed of the ending .. AVIATOR
WAS ROBBED!!
BTW ... Did Cathy Schulman say she wanted to thank her husband AND WIFE??
Or "our husbands & wives" ... I couldnt pay attention to her acceptance speech ..
I was also suprised she also thanked Bob Yari .. since they are suing each other.

Ash Wednesday
I went to church for Ash Wednesday.
It's been awhile since I've gone to Sunday mass, I've
been soo exhausted lately working a long Saturday shift.
I've decided to give up my "usual" not "daily" breakfast
food --> Chocolate Croissant / Chocolate Bar / Chocolate Muffin
My sister & niece said I should be giving up Hot Chocolate ...
but I know that I wont be able to do that for Lent .. I dont
have that much will power!
I ate Shrimp Tempura for dinner ... hmmm .. is it every
Friday that we cant eat meat too??
