MOVIE WEDNESDAY: The Women

I was really looking forward to this movie because
it was starring Meg Ryan. I decided not to read
any of the reviews and the only thing I new about
this was it was based on an original and also no
men appear in the movie. Any other info I knew was
based on what was shown on the previews.

I thought it was O.K. ~ I just wished that Debra
Messing and Jada Pickett Smith had more to do ~
what a waste of their talent.

Meg Ryan ... as always ... adorable.

9 to 5: The Musical

Wednesday is usally movie night, but I got free
tickets to 9 to 5: The Musical and was happy to
have theatre night instead.

It was amazing!!

Megan Hilty (from Wicked) was FANTASTIC as Doralee,
Im sure she made Dolly Parton proud.

MOVIE WEDNESDAY: Hamlet 2

This movie had some really funny moments, and there
were the really corny moments. But I'm glad that I
actually watched it.

The only thing that annoyed me was that David Arquette
could have more dialog and why did he had to be the guy
that left with the wife. Elizabeth Shue was funny as
herself as well.

It was slow paced as times ... and I wished they
actually showed more of the musical scenes. I don't
know if I'll buy this for my collection, but I would
not mind if I got it as a GIFT.

MOVIE WEDNESDAY: Vicky.Cristina.Barcelona

Vicky.Cristina.Barcelona

I was planning on watching HAMLET 2 today, but because
I had plans later on, had to catch a earlier movie. The
only one available at 4:00pm was VICKY, CRISTINA, BARCELONA.

I love Woody Allen films, so I didn't mind going to
see this movie, and HAMLET 2 next week.

I thought this movie was alright. I liked MATCH POINT much
better. Woody Allen must really like Scarlett Johansson to
put her in this movie too.

I thought that it's kinda strange that Rebecca Hall (Vicky)
isn't even in the movie poster ... but Penelope Cruz is.
Maybe its because she wasn't par of the "threesome" ~

Overall, if you're a Woody Allen fan, go out and see
this movie. If not, it is still worth a DVD rental.

90210

90210

I was a fan of the original series ... was looking forward to see
how this new version will be like ... and ... from the words of
someone's post:

It was "CRAPTASTIC"

It wasn't great ... BUT it wasn't bad either.

Things That I Enjoyed Watching:
1. Brenda & Kelly Reunion
2. Nat still in the Peach Pit
3. The Hannah Zuckerman-Vazquez "moment"

Things That Annoyed Me:
1. The NEW Peach Pit
2. The Acting
3. Some characters (Naomi & Adrianna)

I could go on ... but what for!! I'm probably going to
watch next week ... just to see Kelly's mom ... and
maybe get some more "history" of the characters.

Unless the writers create something "magical" like
Brenda-Dylan in these characters and storylines,
I won't be watching.
