The glasses that I saw in January was still there!! This time it was on sale from $139.95 down to $124.98

And on top of that ~ I had a 40% discount!!

I knew that the lenses/anti-refelective/scratch-resistance extras would probably cost me more ... and it did ... but I thought that it was worth it.

A couple days ago, someone came up to me at the desk and said:

"you've been working here for a long time"

I said yes, It'll be 8 years on Saturday.

For some reason, whenever someone says that to me, I feel kinda sad. That I really shouldn't be here. That I should be working somewhere else.

But I'm still here. At least I have a job right?!?

I know people who are still desperately looking for a job, I'm really lucky that I've been employed this long and that I'm making money to pay the bills. But I want to do more.

I need my bliss.

Eight years was too long not to be where my bliss is at.

I kinda procastinated with filing my taxes and now that I know how much I'm getting, I'm debating whether or not to:

1. Save Money
2. Shop for shoes

5. Take a vacation

Well, I didn't make it to Starbucks until past 5pm on Thursday ~ But on Friday I ordered a Cafe Mocha then tried the Tiramisu Pops ~ YUMMY!!



On Saturday ... ordered Cafe Mocha again and tried the Rocky Road Pops ~ which I think tasted much better!!



Someone in front of me declined the free "Petite Treat" ... so she turned around and asked us if we wanted hers ... ARGH ... I wanted to say YES!! I wanted to try the Birthday Cake Pop!! Just felt embarrassed ... no one else took her up on her offer.

The Adjustment Bureau

Ok. I had no intention of watching this movie until i saw a commercial with reviews stating that it was a romantic movie.

Really? I thought this was more of a sci-fi.

So I decided to watch it. Now I'm glad that I saw that commercial. But was that by "chance" ... or was it a group of individuals that made my remote control stop at a particular channel so I could see the commercial??

Hmm. Something to think about.

I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it a whole lot. It reminded me of an old Twilight Zone episode: A Matter Of Minutes. I remember loving the idea that there is some kind of supernatural aspect of "time".

"I knew I left my keys here somewhere"

Anyways. It was a romantic movie. I loved the scene where the bureau was talking about how Elise and David keep getting pulled away from each other and somehow they belong together, thats why they still keep finding each other.

Romantic, huh.

The King's Speech

I wish I watched this movie before the Oscars!!

I'm happy that it won. I thought The Social Network was a good movie, but I think that because it was about Facebook, people were hoping that it will win.

I had wanted Jeff Bridges to win Best Actor because he was wonderful in True Grit. Now that I saw this movie, Colin Firth really deserved the win.

Congratulations to Tom Hooper also!! I'm glad that he won Best Directing...I still wish Ben Affleck was nominated though.

Can't wait to buy this on DVD.

The Town

This movie was amazing!! I really wished I saw it when it was out in the theatres, but I'm so glad my friend let me borrow the dvd!

Ben Affleck you were robbed of a "Best Director" nomination for the Oscars! This movie should also have been one of the nominees for "Best Picture"!!

The Social Network

I just watched The Social Network and I am in awe of how Mark Zuckerberg became a billionaire in just a couple of years!

I'm just really upset about how the Winklevoss twins sued Mark regarding him stealing their idea!! I mean Harvard Connection would have been just another Friendster and MySpace but exlusive to only Harvard peeps. That was the "idea"
he stole from them!?!?!

Could people from Friendster and MySpace sue them for their idea of Harvard Connection??

I just hate how people just want to sue and sue and sue! Greedy, greedy, greedy!

A guy who makes a nice chair doesn't owe money to everyone who has ever built a chair.

I really wonder if Mark Zuckerberg felt that way:
