T.G.I.F.
laughed soo much. Jaime Pressly is soo funny, I still think she was
robbed not getting an Emmy.
The BIG news is that Ugly Betty is the most watch new show on
TV ... yeah ... in other news CSI had just a "tiny bit" more viewers
than Grey's Anatomy last night.
Its a Friday night and I'm blogging .. and not watching TV .. I cant
find anything I'm interested in. I'm tempted to watch Men In Trees
but I think I'd be lost not watching the first episode.

Thursday Dilemma
Or do I record Ugly Betty ... watch My Name Is Earl??
My decision was to record Earl, and watch Betty.
I absolutely loved Ugly Betty!!! Soo Funny! Fantastic!
Grey's Anatomy was wonderful tonight as well!!
McSteamy was back ... and did you notice the steam coming
out of the bathroom! A couple more inches with the towel .... and ... hmm ...
I've noticed a theme with Thursday night on ABC ... Earl, Betty, (Meredith) Grey.
Absolutely wonderful characters!!

2. Miss "Luke and Lorelai"
3. Miss Lane and Zach
1. Hate that there really wasnt much "witty" banter
2. Hate that Lorelai was depressed the whole episode
3. Hate that this (might) will be the last season
** I never liked Logan, and I really hope that Jess comes back **

Saturday TV - Jericho & Kidnapped
several chapter of the 3 new books that I'm reading.
I caught the beginning of Jericho on CBS and found
myself interested in Skeet Ulrich and the rest of the
towns people ... very impressed with the writing and
the story. A very "compelling" pilot ... from the words
of Entertainment Weekly. I missed its premiere on
Wednesday ... but it plays at 8pm ... so I can watch it
right before Lost.
10:00pm rolls in and Kidnapped is on its opening
credits .... another show I missed on Wednesday.
Its also another show that I'm probably going to tune
in ... after Lost ... so bedtime is at 11:00pm ... unless
they replay this every Saturday.

Grey's Anatomy Beats CSI
The ratings are in and Grey's Anatomy beat CSI ~
I no longer have to stay up until 11pm on Sunday, and will
settle for 10pm on Thursday. I just have to see how the
new show Brothers & Sisters will be...then I might have to
rethink my bedtime.
Its Friday night and I have no interest in watching the new
shows.

Bus Pass Continued
Seriously.
I swear ... I really think I bought this bus pass before.
But no trace of where the money would have come from.
I'm forgetting the simple things in my life

Bus Pass
Okay ... So its Sept 5th and I've been carrying this August bus pass with me ... and not a single bus driver stoppped me ... until today. "Sorry but that's an Aug Pass".
OMG. I can't believe it!!! For Several Reasons:
1. Did I forget to buy a September bus pass ... and got away for 5 days???
2. Did I buy a September bus pass and lost it in a 5-day period?? Not remembering when I lost it since I've been using the August bus pass...but not stopped by a driver.
3. Why do I "REMEMBER" buying a bus pass ... but there doesnt seem to be a withdrawal in my checking account for the amount of the bus pass???
I have a purse with two small pockets ... small enough to fit the bus pass. There was no September pass. But I could have sworn I bought one ... OR DID I?? Why can't I remember?? Why am I not 100% sure?? This sucks if I lost the pass ... and now have to buy another one!!! But my bank account doesn't reflect that I took any money out to buy a pass. OMG ... my memory is failing!!!

Todays Horoscope
It's about 8pm and I'm thinking about the events of today. There was only one pivotal moment that I could think of, and I didn't seize any opportunity. What could I have done?? What could I have said. When will I have an opportunity again?
Yes, I know these next few days, weeks, maybe months may be different. Because I don't know when the time will come again. Has it really been a long time coming?? I thought it had just begun.

Anybody Out There
** SPOILERS ALERT **
I finally finished Marian Keyes latest book. I kinda wished I read her first novels of the Walsh sisters. Then I might have known the importance of Rachel (Rachel's Holiday) & Luke, and Maggie (Angels). I just finished Watermelon and loved Claires story. But was disappointed on how her personality "turned out" in this book.
Nevertheless, I really liked this book. It was weird going from the "stoned" Anna in Watermelon to the career woman in Anybody Out There.
I loved the structure of the book. Keyes would go from present to the past to the present from one chapter to the other. The present being Anna recovering from an accident. The past details her getting her job and the course of her relationship with Aidan.
While recovering from her accident, she tries to contact Aidan via email and leaves messages on his voice mail. I wondered why Aidan never tried to contact her, but reading through the first few chapters and finding out that Aidan had a past relationship with a woman named Janie, I figured they had an agrument about her and that he was keeping his distance and that Anna's accident had something to do about "the other woman".
Something about the Prologue hinted about photographs, and I kinda got a feeling but I wasn't really sure. But I got my answer in Part 3 ~ and I was right. Something about Chapter 4 got to me. It was the first phone call Anna makes to Aidans cell phone...I had to go back and re-read it...Anna tells herself that she had to go back to New York and try to find Aidan...it was the second to the last paragraph.
"There was a chance he mightn't be there but I had to give it a go because there was one thing I was certain of: he wasn't here."
Hmm...should I have catched it then?? Nope...Too soon.
Well, I could go on about how I laughed soo hard regarding Anna's other sister Helen and her Private Investigation work...and their mother...how adorable is she. I love how Keyes uses emails as a way to advance the stories too. Anyways back to the story of Anna and Aidan.
** HUGE SPOILER ~ STOP NOW IF YOU DONT WANT TO FIND OUT **
I knew it in Chapter 23. The wash bag that fell. The scent of fresh flowers.
"It was Lilies, a smell I hate - so heavy and musty, like death"
I knew it then. Aidan was dead.
And I started to cry. I hoped things would get better. That things would get answered.
In the end, things got answered. And there was hope that things will get better.
Read the book, and you'll understand.

The Day After Tomorrow
I wish I watched this in the movie theatre!!
Amazing effects! Great Score! Interesting Script!
At first I thought there were too many characters, but
I started to enjoy the major and minor ones.
Makes me want to go into oceanic, global, etc. sciences.
(whatever they call the field).

A Lot Like Love
I'm soo glad that this movie didn't involve Ashton Kutcher as a
stupid (ala comedic role) character. It was actually a somewhat
"very" romantic movie ... in my opinion.
I cried ... yes ... I'm back ... crying at "sappy" movies!
There is a possibility that I will get this for my DVD collection

The Terminal
first came out, I thought that it'll just be about Tom Hanks
and Catherine Zeta-Jones. But there was a superb supporting
cast.
I absolutely loved Kumar Pallana! His portrayal of Gupta Rajan
was wonderful. I was laughing at Viktor & Amelias date scene.
Kumar Pallana was doing all these tricks with plates, etc. I met
him at work before ... he's a very humble, quiet, and down to earth.
I remember handing over some scripts to him and asking him how
long will they be filming, and he hoped not to long. Then he mentioned
working in The Royal Tanenbaums ... I didnt see it then. But after
watching the movie, I thought he was a wonderful actor in that too.
Diego Luna was adorable, and I'm soo glad they made Stanley Tucci a
"nice" guy in the very end. The movie ended somewhat in a weird note.
I really wished that Amelia and Viktor had a better "ending".
