Every Exit Is An Entry Somewhere Else
one opens (or window, etc) ~
I'm just wondering ... there are people who keep themselves
in the same room, not opening any doors ... not exiting ... just
staying dormant.
I don't know if I reach my limit of exits ... or if opening so
many doors has gotten me confused of exactly what room
I want to be in.
Can someone go back to a particular closed door?
Can someone take an exit twice and not even know it,
therefore completely wasting their time?
Doesn't some exits also have detours, where you really
have no choice but to turn in that direction?
Drive On? Open Doors? Be Dormant? Close Windows?

Here's To Starting Again
decided to blog daily ... I do intend to finish
"The Novel" by the end of the month, if not by the
end of February.
I've gotten some 2007 calendars and pocketbooks
that includes quotes ~ ideas ~ "to do" in 2007 that
I decided to share in my daily blogs. Oprahs "O"
magazine includes a calendar ... the main theme
of the month of January is:
Here's to starting again
2006 went by really fast, and there are some things
that I wish I could have done, and things I wish I could
have avoided ... but ... its a new year ... another chance
for me to start fresh.
It's time to start over.

Cinema Paradiso: Collector's Edition
My favorite movie of all time!! Cinema Paradiso ~
In the November 10th issue of Entertainment Weekly,
M.R.B gives the movie an A- .... I still give it an A+++ ...
Its soo beautiful ... the buddy movie ... the romantic movie ...
the drama ... the comedy ... I absolutely love the nostalga.
If you've never watch this before ... watch the original version.
It won the Oscar ~ THEN ... if you're curious ... watch the
"less sentimental" (in MRBs words) longer version. I advise not
to do it the other way .... the original is just wonderful, you don't
need to know "what happened to the love of a lifetime" ...

Monster House
I remember reading reviews of "Monster House" which
were mostly positive. After watching the movie, I thought
it was alright ... it was cute ... but I wasn't completely
captivated by it.
I'm glad I watched it ... very interesting animation done.
But I don't think I'll have it in my collection. It was a
cute story ... but I found it kinda disturbing about what
the kids found behind the lock/gate ... if you've watch
this ... you know what I'm talking about.

Best Earl Ever
Best things about tonight:
1. John Leguizamo deserves an Emmy nomination
for guest role ... maybe even the Emmy ... but I loved
how he yelled "Wolverines" in the end.
2. Listening to "Time After Time" in Spanish,
and Randy saying "in Spanish, in Spanish" (or
something like that).
3. Joy and her "chill pill" persona
I would have to say that this was the best episode so
far. I'm hoping that Emmy for best writing goes out
to them again.

Doctors Visit
disappointed with my "doctor" ~
Maybe its because I've been fasting since 8:00pm
last night since I wanted to have my blood tested
for my cholesteral, etc. ~ I've felt really moody, and
it seemed that this doctor didn't help me much.
This is the third year I've visited this doctor and I'm
hoping I could change to another one ~ last year I asked
if I could have a Thyroid test because I felt that I should
weight more considering the things that I eat. She said
something like "you don't have a thyroid problem, or
weight problem ... you're just not fat like the rest of us"
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!
This year ... I asked about getting an MRI ... or just
tests regarding some headaches I've been having. I
guess the way I described them she didnt think I
had a problem ... "its not a tumor" ... but she said that
she'll talk to the nurses about setting up a Cat Scan.
Maybe I've just been watching too much Grey's Anatomy,
hoping that my doctor would atleast have some kind of
"understanding" for me rather than another patient they
need to finish looking over.

Batman Begins
A friend of mine let me borrow his DVD and he kept raving
how much he loved this movie ... the best Batman movie so far.
And I agree!!! Loved it!! Great Story!!

Greys Anatomy Season 1 Marathon
I finished the first season ~ even though I watched it when
the episodes first aired ~ It's still interesting to me ~ And
watching it back-to-back without any commercials is the
best thing ever.
I can now go to sleep ... and hopefully do another
marathon with Season 2 ~ once I get the DVD.

First Day of the Last Month
I can't believe how time flew so fast ... I did not accomplish majority
of the goals I set this year!
House - nope
Car - nope
Completed Novel - nope
Completed Screenplay - nope
I'm just going to let this month go by ... and "relax" ... maybe clear
my head for the new year.
I must move forward ... I must move on ... I say again, and again.

The Constant Gardner
feeling ... not "bad" empty ... just empty.
It was a really nice dramatic movie, but I felt sad in
the end. The whole story was just too emotional
for me in some aspects. But I did like it ... I just
felt sad about the story.
Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz are wonderful actors
and I loved their characters. I knew her character dies
and that he would be investigating her death ... but I
did not know how the whole movie would play out.
I'm still debating whether I should see this again.
Monday, November 27, 2006
The Fountain
The visuals were stunning ... but I really think the trailer
was misleading. I don't know if anyone else thought this
way ~ but this is what I thought it was going to be about :
Someone finding the fountain of youth and the characters
living "forever" and we would see how they evolved from
being a "conquistador" to modern day "scientist" ~ problems
happen ~ and etc etc ~
But my theory was way off ~ was I reading the movie previews
the wrong way?? ~ Because thats what I thought it was about.
I was just confused ... it was "interesting" ... but when the movie
ended I couldn't help feel that I NEEDED MORE ... that this
wasn't what the whole movie was about ... but I guess it was.

Another of LGs Mail
for LG to my mail box ... not another Netflix
DVD, but a letter from Howard L. Berman
Member of Congress.
I just don't know why I've been getting LGs
mail.
I'm glad Im not getting anything for the previous
tenant ... RT ... for some reason, this person has
a friend that seems to be sending invitations, or
cards, etc not knowing that this is no longer the
current address.
I just hope any lost mail for me goes to someone
who is honest enough to send it back.

Netflix Is Coming To Dinner
I opened up my mailbox and found LG's (again) Netflix
DVD ~ "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" ~ I checked
the small opening ... just curious!
I just wonder why I'm only getting LGs DVDs and not
the other mail ... unless this is the only mail that this
person is getting ... hmm ... does this mean LG might
be getting some of my mail???
Maybe its a sign ... that I should sign up for Netflix
again. But maybe its also a sign NOT to sign up,
since my DVDs might go to someone elses box.

The Light In the Piazza
time it was for "The Light In the Piazza" ~
This musical won 6 Tony awards in 2005!!
I had fun! Gloria and her cousin came too.
The only annoying thing of the night was when
the person in front of me turned around
and "shhed" Gloria. She was chewing gum
and somehow annoyed him. Which I could
not understand since I was sitting next
to her and didnt notice any "noise" ~ and he
was sitting in front of me.
Anyways...go out and see this! Beautiful and
"romantic" ~ You'll laugh in the beginning of
Act II when they sing Aiutami.

Dark Candy
I'm glad Ani bought the HERSHEYS MINATURES.
I've always passed on the dark candy, but now,
since its the "healthy" one ... I've been munching
on "several" pieces.
Can munching on too much dark candy be bad?

Open House
I guess its every Sunday 1pm to 4pm ~
Now I have a question for anyone ... maybe to any
Real Estate agents out there:
Why would you have an Open House around the
1pm to 4pm time period and be on a lunch break
at a particular time during those hours???
My friend Gloria and her cousin went to "The House"
to check it out for me ... and the real estate agent told
them she was about to go (OR WAS) ON her lunch break!!!
I thought it was really dumb!!! But then ... I thought ..
was this woman just lying ... and didn't want to show
Gloria the house ... because they probably werent
going to buy the house??!!??
Because COME ON! "Lunch break" !!! During the
time you have an open house!! I would much prefer
the stupidity of having a lunch break .. rather than
the MEANESS of lying to people wanting to see an
Open House.

5 Shows To Watch
The "5 Great New Shows To Watch Now" are my
favorites and "must see".
1. Ugly Betty - Funny... Funny ... Funny!
2. Heroes - Best Thing On TV!! Tonights episode was amazing!!
3. The Nine - Great Characters & Storylines ... but just wondering
how this show will continue in "future" seasons, considering the whole
"52" hours in the bank can't be played out for so long.
4. Studio 60 - Next Best thing after Heroes (seriously, both ways).
The only thing that annoyed me with tonights episode was Jordan's
banter "I dont have friends".
5. Jericho - Once again, great characters and storyline. But like the
The Nine, how will the next seasons be like.
I'm glad I have these "fresh" shows to watch. I'm seriously disappointed
with Lost, it had a fantastic 1st and 2nd season. But with "the others", I
just think that they've lost something... and its in these shows.

Prayer
shows me the way to reach my ideals. You, who gave me
the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done
to me. And you who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue want to thank you for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated
from you no matter how great the material desires may be.
I want to be with you and my loved ones in their perpetual
glory. Amen.
This prayer must be said 3 consecutive days, without asking
your wish. After third day, wish will be granted no matter
how difficult it may be. Promise to publish this dialogue as
soon as the favor is granted.

If the USPS delivered a package to you, maybe from
Columbia House, or Netflix, and this package wasn't
yours...would you keep it?? No one would ever know.
SCREW YOU!!
I sent back those Netflix DVDs and marked "sent to

should have marked "wrong address" and it would
have been re-routed to me!!

Deja Vu Wednesday

Deja Vu
While trying to stay awake watching Lost, I saw commercials
for Denzel Washingtons new movie ~ the title:
Deja Vu
While trying to stay awake watching Lost, I saw the last scene
with Hurley & Desmont ~ the words spoken by Hurley:
Deja Vu
Got Coffee. Got Milk?
over to Alameda to catch the 152 bus.
The bus was somewhat 5-10 minutes late.
In my mind I kept thinking that I'm going to get
to my apartment the same time the UPS truck
drives off.
Guess what?
About two blocks to my apartment I saw the BROWN
TRUCK! I sped walked / jogged / ran ~ the guy was
walking back to his truck with the box!!
So I finally made it as he was about to put the box
down ... I got the coffee ... but I cant drink anything
since I got no coffee mate ~

Hiro My Hero
Yes, I adore Milo V. ~ but its not just because of him
that I'm watching. Watching this show feels like watching
the first season of Lost ... I just keep wanting more. Sadly,
I'm somewhat disappointed with these last episodes of
Lost ~ I'm just sooo annoyed with "the others".
I love the scenes with Hiro ... soo funny ... and best
"visuals" ~ I'm not sure how I feel about the cheeleader
chick (whats with the "save the cheerleader" thingy?) ~
Isaac was freaky looking when he was painting ~ and
Niki's "split personality" (or is it) was somewhat expected.
But I really wish Nathan didnt sleep with her.
So I'm thinking that the first season will be about
saving New York ~ I kinda like the "small" numbers
of Hero characters ... I actually don't want to see more.
With Lost ... we got the addition of "the tailies" ... then
"the others" ... that just annoyed me. So I hope the
producers keep the characters "small".

Strange Dream: Episode 10.14
Lottery numbers ~
My co-workers and I had decided to buy tickets
together ... we had chosen numbers on our own ..
some choosing quick picks ... the numbers that
mostly came up was the number "8" ... and in
my dream ... the winning numbers had something
to do with the number "8".
I dont know if its because in a recent draw the
mega number was "8" and I missed it ... is this
a sign that choosing it again will be a winning number??

Four Months
I have four months to accomplish something significant.
But I really don't know what I want to accomplish.
Should it be to read the complete works of Jane Austen?
Should it be to read the complete works of Shakespeare?

Tuesdays & Fridays
It's also Friday Night Lights night!
Well ofcourse I'm going to watch Gilmore Girls, but because
FNL is getting such great reveiws I have to watch it too.
And since both shows are on the same time, I could watch
Gilmore Girls ... record FNL ... and watch it at 9pm ... and
be in bed by 10pm or 10ish.
Want to know something crazy ... I actually liked Friday Night
better!! It was a GREAT PILOT!! I'm still going to record
the show ... because ... I actually want to watch it AGAIN.
I cant really say that about Gilmore Girls. Why did the writers
have to "make" Lane pregnant!! The best part of the show was
"Kirks" diner.
Make it funny once again!! Make it interesting!!
Friday is going to make Tuesday great!
Day Three
Lunch: McDonald McNuggets / Fries / Choco Shake
Dinner: Baked Chicken & Jasmine Rice
No Exercise
No Writing

Mondays don't suck

4pm - 6pm ~ nap
8pm - 8:30 ~ The Class
8:30 - 9:00 ~ How I Met Your Mother
9:00-10:00 ~ Heroes
10pm-11pm ~ Studio 60
I have to record Two and a Half Men on my computer
and watch it the next day since I plan on watching
Heroes ... I can't believe I almost missed it today!! I
was watching the begining of Two and a Half and kept
thinking there is suppose to be something I was suppose
to record .. so I turn on my "Computer TV" and see Heroes
as now showing ... I changed the channel on my TV and
decided to record Two and a Half. I adore Milo!!! When
he hugged his brother after he realized he was floating.
Awww ... great show. And Studio 60 was wonderful tonight.
I kinda thought it was odd when "Will You Still Love Me"
was playing ... but I guess that was what Matt Perry was
thinking ... will the audience still love him the next day.
Maybe I'm wrong ... but hey ... Mondays dont suck.
Day Two
Lunch: Salisbury Steak & Garlic Rice
Dinner: Chicken Adobo & Jasmine Rice
Snack: Corn Pops & Ensure
50 Crunches
No writing done :-(
Sunday, October 01, 2006

The First Of The Month
"Monthly Resolution" ~
1. Write More
2. Exercise More
3. Eat More (Gain Weight)
Its the same thing month after month...and I don't
seem to accomplish much ... but it'll be different
starting today.
I'll be tracking my "daily" accomplishments, so
hopefully by the end of the month, I've gained
some weight, toned up my arms, flattened my
stomach, and finished several chapters of the
novel.

T.G.I.F.
laughed soo much. Jaime Pressly is soo funny, I still think she was
robbed not getting an Emmy.
The BIG news is that Ugly Betty is the most watch new show on
TV ... yeah ... in other news CSI had just a "tiny bit" more viewers
than Grey's Anatomy last night.
Its a Friday night and I'm blogging .. and not watching TV .. I cant
find anything I'm interested in. I'm tempted to watch Men In Trees
but I think I'd be lost not watching the first episode.

Thursday Dilemma
Or do I record Ugly Betty ... watch My Name Is Earl??
My decision was to record Earl, and watch Betty.
I absolutely loved Ugly Betty!!! Soo Funny! Fantastic!
Grey's Anatomy was wonderful tonight as well!!
McSteamy was back ... and did you notice the steam coming
out of the bathroom! A couple more inches with the towel .... and ... hmm ...
I've noticed a theme with Thursday night on ABC ... Earl, Betty, (Meredith) Grey.
Absolutely wonderful characters!!

Tuesday TV
1. Love the bit about Kirk crashing into Lukes diner.
2. Love the rocket & Twilight Zone "true love" explanation
3. Love the way Chris looked
1. Miss Friday night dinner with Richard & Emily
2. Miss "Luke and Lorelai"
3. Miss Lane and Zach
1. Hate that there really wasnt much "witty" banter
2. Hate that Lorelai was depressed the whole episode
3. Hate that this (might) will be the last season
** I never liked Logan, and I really hope that Jess comes back **
** Luke & Lorelai HAS to be together in the end **

Saturday TV - Jericho & Kidnapped
several chapter of the 3 new books that I'm reading.
I caught the beginning of Jericho on CBS and found
myself interested in Skeet Ulrich and the rest of the
towns people ... very impressed with the writing and
the story. A very "compelling" pilot ... from the words
of Entertainment Weekly. I missed its premiere on
Wednesday ... but it plays at 8pm ... so I can watch it
right before Lost.
10:00pm rolls in and Kidnapped is on its opening
credits .... another show I missed on Wednesday.
Its also another show that I'm probably going to tune
in ... after Lost ... so bedtime is at 11:00pm ... unless
they replay this every Saturday.

Grey's Anatomy Beats CSI
The ratings are in and Grey's Anatomy beat CSI ~
I no longer have to stay up until 11pm on Sunday, and will
settle for 10pm on Thursday. I just have to see how the
new show Brothers & Sisters will be...then I might have to
rethink my bedtime.
Its Friday night and I have no interest in watching the new
shows.

Fall TV Season: Thursday
8:29pm - Dont you just love the "tag" of this show ... Randy and Earl in bed ... discussing the funniest things.
8:45pm - I'm still not getting The Office
8:50pm - Okay ... so maybe I'm getting it ...
9:01pm - Don't you just love The Fray, their song is perfect to start up Greys Anatomy
9:25pm - Three flashbacks ... hmm ... begining to look like Lost to me ... so far great acting from everyone ... but Sandra Oh doesnt seem to have her regular "oomph" appeal.
10:01pm - Finally ... Sandra Oh shows her "oomph" appeal ... her crying ... now I understand why the flashback .. and Dr. McDreamy ... aww ... "I love you too" ....
10:03pm - 6 Degrees ... another voice over show begins ...
10:14pm - Do I really want to stay up another 45 minutes
10:20pm - Too ... late ... must sleep ... dont find it interesting ...

Bus Pass Continued
Seriously.
I swear ... I really think I bought this bus pass before.
But no trace of where the money would have come from.
I'm forgetting the simple things in my life

Bus Pass
Okay ... So its Sept 5th and I've been carrying this August bus pass with me ... and not a single bus driver stoppped me ... until today. "Sorry but that's an Aug Pass".
OMG. I can't believe it!!! For Several Reasons:
1. Did I forget to buy a September bus pass ... and got away for 5 days???
2. Did I buy a September bus pass and lost it in a 5-day period?? Not remembering when I lost it since I've been using the August bus pass...but not stopped by a driver.
3. Why do I "REMEMBER" buying a bus pass ... but there doesnt seem to be a withdrawal in my checking account for the amount of the bus pass???
I have a purse with two small pockets ... small enough to fit the bus pass. There was no September pass. But I could have sworn I bought one ... OR DID I?? Why can't I remember?? Why am I not 100% sure?? This sucks if I lost the pass ... and now have to buy another one!!! But my bank account doesn't reflect that I took any money out to buy a pass. OMG ... my memory is failing!!!

Anybody Out There
** SPOILERS ALERT **
I finally finished Marian Keyes latest book. I kinda wished I read her first novels of the Walsh sisters. Then I might have known the importance of Rachel (Rachel's Holiday) & Luke, and Maggie (Angels). I just finished Watermelon and loved Claires story. But was disappointed on how her personality "turned out" in this book.
Nevertheless, I really liked this book. It was weird going from the "stoned" Anna in Watermelon to the career woman in Anybody Out There.
I loved the structure of the book. Keyes would go from present to the past to the present from one chapter to the other. The present being Anna recovering from an accident. The past details her getting her job and the course of her relationship with Aidan.
While recovering from her accident, she tries to contact Aidan via email and leaves messages on his voice mail. I wondered why Aidan never tried to contact her, but reading through the first few chapters and finding out that Aidan had a past relationship with a woman named Janie, I figured they had an agrument about her and that he was keeping his distance and that Anna's accident had something to do about "the other woman".
Something about the Prologue hinted about photographs, and I kinda got a feeling but I wasn't really sure. But I got my answer in Part 3 ~ and I was right. Something about Chapter 4 got to me. It was the first phone call Anna makes to Aidans cell phone...I had to go back and re-read it...Anna tells herself that she had to go back to New York and try to find Aidan...it was the second to the last paragraph.
"There was a chance he mightn't be there but I had to give it a go because there was one thing I was certain of: he wasn't here."
Hmm...should I have catched it then?? Nope...Too soon.
Well, I could go on about how I laughed soo hard regarding Anna's other sister Helen and her Private Investigation work...and their mother...how adorable is she. I love how Keyes uses emails as a way to advance the stories too. Anyways back to the story of Anna and Aidan.
** HUGE SPOILER ~ STOP NOW IF YOU DONT WANT TO FIND OUT **
I knew it in Chapter 23. The wash bag that fell. The scent of fresh flowers.
"It was Lilies, a smell I hate - so heavy and musty, like death"
I knew it then. Aidan was dead.
And I started to cry. I hoped things would get better. That things would get answered.
In the end, things got answered. And there was hope that things will get better.
Read the book, and you'll understand.

The Day After Tomorrow
I wish I watched this in the movie theatre!!
Amazing effects! Great Score! Interesting Script!
At first I thought there were too many characters, but
I started to enjoy the major and minor ones.
Makes me want to go into oceanic, global, etc. sciences.
(whatever they call the field).

A Lot Like Love
I'm soo glad that this movie didn't involve Ashton Kutcher as a
stupid (ala comedic role) character. It was actually a somewhat
"very" romantic movie ... in my opinion.
I cried ... yes ... I'm back ... crying at "sappy" movies!
There is a possibility that I will get this for my DVD collection

The Terminal
first came out, I thought that it'll just be about Tom Hanks
and Catherine Zeta-Jones. But there was a superb supporting
cast.
I absolutely loved Kumar Pallana! His portrayal of Gupta Rajan
was wonderful. I was laughing at Viktor & Amelias date scene.
Kumar Pallana was doing all these tricks with plates, etc. I met
him at work before ... he's a very humble, quiet, and down to earth.
I remember handing over some scripts to him and asking him how
long will they be filming, and he hoped not to long. Then he mentioned
working in The Royal Tanenbaums ... I didnt see it then. But after
watching the movie, I thought he was a wonderful actor in that too.
Diego Luna was adorable, and I'm soo glad they made Stanley Tucci a
"nice" guy in the very end. The movie ended somewhat in a weird note.
I really wished that Amelia and Viktor had a better "ending".
